I have uploaded the "autoconf-nonfree" package that generates "autoconf-doc" to non-free (that isn't Debian, but it is usually available alongside Debian), so that the docs are available until the issue is fixed in a better way and the documentation can make it back to the main package. "autoconf-nonfree" has not made it through Debian's "new package queue" yet, so I can still request that it gets removed without any fuss.
