Hi,
I wanted to point out several "bugs" and suggest several "features".
- When adding a new repository, you can define a repo ID yourself. Like for instance --name="myrepo". Which you can also fill the "name" YUM statement with.
Normally yum-config-manager takes the URL as repo ID. But that isn't really user friendly, especially when the URL is very long and you want to set some repo specific options.
If the repo ID is empty, then you can always take the URL.

- As follow up: Is it possible to use the given repo ID as lead for saving the new repo file and not the URL at first? It makes identifying on the file system a lot easier.
But only if the repo ID remains empty.

- When using --setopt option. For '--setopt=repoid.exclude=package" "package2' And you want to add another package afterwards. yum-config-manager rewrites that statement and not append.
Thank you!
