Seems pretty dangerous to have automatic package updates enabled out of the box.  I really don't think that's the behavior that most people would want or expect.

Hello yum-cron contributors,

I am not sure if this is the right location to post this. Should I instead file a bug with redhat?

The default install for yum-cron.noarch 0:3.4.3-132.el7 does not enable automatic updates. The file, /etc/yum/yum-cron.conf, has no for the following values. it seems like that should be yes for daily updates to happen.

update_messages = no
download_updates = no
apply_updates = no

Is this intentional? I am working on fixes in our anaconda scripts, but thought I would reach out anyway in case it is not.

Thanks,

Derek
