Also what about the "Available group" as opposed to environment group?
  Environment groups are groups made up of other groups, and are
"mainly" intended for use in the installer. You can access them
specifically within yum/kickstarter by prepending ^ to the id
(although yum will try to dtrt if you leave that out).
