Personally, as a last resort, I'd just download these packages
manually (wget, yum-downloader, whatever):
glib2.i686 2.32.4-2.fc17                   updates
glib2.x86_64 2.32.4-2.fc17                   updates
glib2-devel.i686 2.32.4-2.fc17                   updates
glib2-devel.x86_64 2.32.4-2.fc17                   updates

... and install them using "rpm -Uvh".
