Why don't you tell us: > > * what command you are running > * what you expected to happen > * what actually happened > * what precisely you have tried to fix or workaround the problem Hi - I'm actually in the process of RPM bootstrapping CLFS (Cross-Compiled Linux From Scratch) I haven't actually gotten yum installed yet, but it did build for me (some of the deps aren't ready) This website is NOT anywhere near ready for public consumption but I will be detailing the process here: http://www.clfsrpm.net/ I'm choosing clfs over lfs because it is easier to use clfs to make a good 64-bit multilib environment. Yum really only is practical to use if your system is RPM bootstrapped. Anyway - bootstrapping a LFS/CLFS system is a rather daunting task, especially if you care about doing things correctly. What is it you wish to use yum for on your LFS? > > Greg > _______________________________________________ > Yum mailing list > Yum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > http://lists.baseurl.org/mailman/listinfo/yum > _______________________________________________ Yum mailing list Yum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.baseurl.org/mailman/listinfo/yum
