Re: help needed in yum installation

I tried defining it only once. Also I tried the same with "export proxy=........"...Neither worked. The error remains same.
I dont know what kind of proxy it is. If you could hint me 'the kinds' I would find it out from the admin.

You defined them twice?

Just use proxy=http://172.16.1.1:3128/

and see if that does.

Do you know what kind of proxy it is?
