Hello,
that has been discussed probably before but I just saw the BZ:
https://devel.linux.duke.edu/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=678
What is the status of NFS support for yum ?
I was thinking of implementing this with a plugin that will detect a
nfs:// url, mount the repository to a temporary directory and replace
the url with file:// one. Then proceed as usual and unmount.
However I can't find a way to change the repo url in a plugin because
the parser will barf on nfs:// url.
Replying to my own e-mail:
To avoid the parsing one can define the repos in the plugin conf file.
Any thoughts on the topic?
Thanks,
Alexander.
