Hi Seth,

Is there a more detailed explanation about cost?
In particular, does cost provide the same function as yum-priorities,
i.e. give packages from a repo higher priority then other repos even if
its version is lower ?

Cost is only used if two packages is available in two different repos with same NEVRA (name-epoch:version-release.arch).
(lower cost means this repo is closer & cheaper to me)
