Thanks for pointing this out (I didn't know about reposync before this). Currently I use rsync+createrepo to sync my local repository. The obvious limitation is of course it only works on rsync-enable repositories. I think reposync should be faster since it (should be) checking repodata instead of checking files on the remote server one by one. Will try it soon.
