glibc
libstdc++

It would be nice if you'd list the versions too, but it would seem
that glibc-devel is not listed in your updates from the information
you provided. If you have glibc-devel installed, it will need to be
updated as well. Basically your original message is stating that the
version of glibc-devel currently on your system requires the version
of glibc on your system. The glibc update does not provide the dep for
the glibc-devel, which has no update.

You might try cleaning out your cache and metadata (yum clean all) and
running yum update again. Or double check that you're pointing to a
current mirror.
