YES! That worked. What is the next step to fix the issue then? Thank you so much... very frustrating. I'm obviously a linux newbie trying to find my way. Sorry for replying to my own post but, the --disablerepo is what fixed it. I wasn't clear on the previous post. My ultimate goal is to install clamav using yum. I just tried yum --disablerepo=rpmforge update This is what I get: [root@server ~]# yum --disablerepo=rpmforge install clamav Setting up Install Process Setting up repositories Reading repository metadata in from local files Parsing package install arguments No Match for argument: clamav Nothing to do _______________________________________________ Yum mailing list Yum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.dulug.duke.edu/mailman/listinfo/yum -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ Yum mailing list Yum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.dulug.duke.edu/mailman/listinfo/yum -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ Yum mailing list Yum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.dulug.duke.edu/mailman/listinfo/yum
