to the Internet on Firefox. Like I said: its wierd :-)
I sounds very weird, yumex uses the same repo.baseurlsetup method in the
yum api to load the mirrorlist that the yum cli does.
The only differens can be the timing, yum run the repo setup in a
background thread.
have you tried this:
1. ping mirrors.fedoraproject.org
2. urlgrabber
http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=updates-released-fc6&arch=i386
