That would be a possible solution for our upcoming openSUSE releases, but as we're also offering Repositories for Mandrake and Fedora Core (probably more to come), all these users would be skipped. We probably can not force the FC and MDK Maintainers to add per default one of 'our' repositories to their Base Installation.
And all the older, already existing distributions, which are still well supported, could also not profit easily from such a way.
