Hello, I send you an SOS about my Yum, i have no update since 2 or 3 months. I have a Fedora Core 4 with the following : [/etc/yum.repos.d] # uname -a Linux tenebrae 2.6.17-1.2142_FC4 #1 Tue Jul 11 22:41:14 EDT 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux [/etc/yum.repos.d] # rpm -qa | grep yum yum-2.4.1-1.fc4 Today, i ran rpm -e yum-2.4.1-1.fc4, installed a fresh yum found on rmpfind, ran yum check-update, i had an update for yum, wich i installed, then : [/etc/yum.repos.d] # yum check-update Setting up repositories Reading repository metadata in from local files [09:55:26][root@tenebrae] So i ran "yum clean all" and "yum makecache" and launched a new "yum check-update" for the same output as above. I also tried to had some repo in /etc/yum.repos.d, no change. What can i do to have yum back on my system, i have no clue on what i can try more. Thanks for any help. Regards. -- Bertrand Arquilliere
