[Yum] forced reinstall using yum?

Rich,

I find the quickest way is to remove the database entry for the package,
and then reinstall.
rpm -e --justdb package
yum install package

Is it possible to ask yum to force a reinstall of a particular installed
package?  And assuming so, how do I do that?
