We've started using centos around here, and some "unfortunate incidents" recently have made us wish for the ability to force a reinstall without having to go through the pain of a complete wipe and install from scratch. yum doesn't seem to have an option to do that. If they were FreeBSD, I'd just check out a fresh copy and "make world", "but it's not!", so if anyone has suggestions for doing the equivalent, I'd appreciate it.
