[Yum] yum command confussion?

Mm, that is what I was expecting?  But, it didn't produce quite what I expected.

I can see that makes more sense on the face of it and it is more what I
wanted, but...

It doesn't seem to???  Here's the out put of that, cf. the out put from my
original post?  Not showing available packages?

[root@morgansmachine ~]# yum --disablerepo=\* --enablerepo=fedora-netdev
list available
Setting up repositories
fedora-netdev             100% |=========================| 1.1 kB    00:00
Reading repository metadata in from local files
Excluding Packages in global exclude list
Finished
Available Packages
fedora-netdev-release.noarch             4-0                    fedora-netdev
[root@morgansmachine ~]#
