[Yum] Headers Not Downloading

How do I get the headers to download using yum? According to what
little I could find, the check-update was supposed to do that. See:

http://www.linuxgazette.com/node/8835

If there is a way to automate the repo header cache(s), please let me
know of point me to a howto.

Thanks.
