Hi List, I tried to install fedora on a XEN system running with Debian Sarge. Following the HowTo yum -c http://people.redhat.com/~katzj/yum-xen.conf --installroot=/mnt/fedora/ -y groupinstall Base There was a problem importing one of the Python modules required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was: No module named rpm Please install a package which provides this module, or verify that the module is installed correctly. It's possible that the above module doesn't match the current version of Python, which is: 2.3.5 (#2, May 4 2005, 08:51:39) [GCC 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-12)] Installing rpm brought: apt-get install rpm Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done rpm is already the newest version. 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 212 not upgraded. and apt-get install python Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done python is already the newest version. 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 212 not upgraded. well, what do I miss? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
