When I run the trace the "dries" address, for example, using the following: ??? echo -e "TRACE / HTTP/1.1\nHost: ftp.belnet.be\n\n" | nc ftp.belnet.be 80 It simply returns to the shell promt w/o displaying the existance of aynthing between me and the server.
