If this process takes a ridiculously long time, call your salesman and
complain.  You are paying for support/service.  Get some.

If you want to circumvent the up2date process and use yum internally
and you need to get your one box to download multiple arches of the
RHN packages and then install them, that will require a special
agreement with your vendor, not something that yum can do.

Also, your bottleneck is probably in the network side, not the client
software.  Using yum to attach to RHN will not magically solve that
network bottleneck.
