[Yum] Bug(?) report for yum 2.4.0

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello, dear sir
I am trying to install an yum on my system which is running Redhat 9.0.
But after I installed it, a error message comes out. It shows as follow:

There was a problem importing one of the Python modules
required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was:

       No module named yum

Please install a package which provides this module, or
verify that the module is installed correctly.

It's possible that the above module doesn't match the
current version of Python, which is:
    2.3.4 (#1, Feb 22 2005, 04:09:37)
    [GCC 3.4.3 20041212 (Red Hat 3.4.3-9.EL4)]

By the way, my yum version is 2.4.0. I cannot run 2.2.x on my system.
It seems that my python cannot resolve it.
Thanks for your reading.

Yours,
Zer4tul
