I have re-installed yum-2.4.0-1, and python-2.4.1-2 ....and am still completely broken regarding updating. Any suggestions would be appreciated...I'm running Fedora Core 4 ( kernel-2.6.12-1.1398_FC4 ). Error Message is below. libssl.so.5 is installed. -- Mel -- -------ERROR MESSAGE----- There was a problem importing one of the Python modules required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was: /lib/libssl.so.5: undefined symbol: asn1_add_error Please install a package which provides this module, or verify that the module is installed correctly.
