Yes, but remember that any *new* packages added to a Red Hat group won't get upgraded, as there was no older version of the previously-non-existant package installed. One way around this, if you have the group names from the RHEL install recorded, is to do a "groupinstall" of each Red Hat group with the newer yum repo... that will pick up the new packages and freshen any updated packages. Then for good measure do a generic "yum update" to finish it off. Does this make sense?
