Hi, I like yum, it's good program and seems to work better than up2date, but I like the way I can say I want everything brought up to date, but easily remove the kernel from this list. Is there a way of doing the same in yum without having to install packages individually. Sorry if there's a really obvious answer to this, but I haven't found it yet. Cheers
