Hello Seth, I got a weird wish: How about a "message of the day" function for a repository? Let me elaborate a bit on the reasoning.... I use yum for a number of update functions, but I also use yum for development purposes. Ex: I want to set myth-tv up, but I want to know what packages are really needed, so I start off with a bare FC2 or FC3. Then I create a new repository and start filling it up as the myth packages require. Just an example - but...... Somebody (actually quite a few) apparently found this out (how is still a mystery or maybe a myth) and suddenly my poor 800/128kbps DSL line is swamped 24/7. Which is understandable, but I would like to tell these people that really - this is nowhere near the bandwidth they need, please go to somwhere.else.com where a mirror has been put up. Just to make my private line available for other things than just minumum email. So that is what I would like a message of the day for. Info - not swearing. Karsten
