[Yum] yum breaks mysql

here is what yum did:

01/22/05 02:47:42 Updated: mysql 3.23.58-9.1.i386
01/22/05 03:08:19 Updated: mysql-server 3.23.58-9.1.i386

is there an easy way to roll back to previous versions?
