Hi all, Yum 2.1.4 is available. This is not feature complete for the 2.1 series - NOTE 2.1.X is a devel series of functional releases. When it is feature complete for release it WILL become 2.2. tar ball: http://linux.duke.edu/yum/download/2.1/yum-2.1.4.tar.gz src.rpm: http://linux.duke.edu/yum/download/2.1/yum-2.1.4-1.src.rpm noarch.rpm - built on fedora core 2(ish): http://linux.duke.edu/yum/download/2.1/yum-2.1.4-1.noarch.rpm Changes: - implemented: yum search yum provides depsolve progress callback - ctrl-c from users should work w/o traceback now - fix for stupid sigcheck error result strings bug #319 - fix for bug #318 - correct when no option narrowing option specified to yum list - potentional fix for rh bug# 133051 - fix for bug #314, check download md against checksum - fix for yum -c w/no file found - solve issue with up attribute not existing when needed.(many bugs) - rss generation includes a link from repo url(s) - add iterator to packageSack object - fix for the yum.sh shell script expanding globs - clean up rss generation so it is a lot nicer on memory for output from lots of packages. - after much pain header downloading and checking work nicely - make filelists.xml be imported from all repos if a file dep exists that does not match /etc/*, *bin/* or /usr/lib/sendmail. - add transaction info class stubs - these will be used to store the transaction Info instead of the one from rpmUtils. - make indexes be built after the package exclusions have occurred speeds up excludes tremendously. Things I KNOW ABOUT: - group* isn't implemented, yes. - the file log output is not doing anything - the confirmation output needs some love.
