No, to my knowledge the rpm-4.1 or above is a very important requirement for 2.0 and cannot be bypassed. If you really want to use yum-2.0 on your system, you can possibly install rpm-4.1 to replace your 4.0.4, but that depends on the system. I know there are working 4.1 packages built for rhl 7.3--google for them. Regards, --icon
