[Yum] Dump headers to a text/xml file

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I meant a .hdr file from YUM's ftp/http site. I am interested in finding out the following information from the .hdr file how would I get to that:

1. File lists
2. Package Description
3. Features/Libraries it provides
4. Required list
5. Conflict list
6. Obsoletes list

and more.

Is there a utility/program that can help me achieve this?

Thanks,
Alpesh

You mean something like 'rpm -qi <packagename>'?

What kind of header information are you looking for?
