Works fine for me. Before edit:

> yum install j2re

Server: Fedora Core 2 - x86_64 - Local Extras
Server: Fedora Core 2 - x86_64 - Released Updates

After edit (with no changes to the repository):

> yum install j2re

I will do the following:
[install: j2re 1.4.2-8.1.fc2.dag.i586]
Is this ok [y/N]:

Note how it found and downloaded headers for i586 pachages that it had
completely ignored before.

So far I haven't seen any unpleasant side effects. Is there anything
specific I should try? "yum update" doesn't offer to update anything
out of the ordinary.
