Hi, I am a new user to yum, which looks attractive. However, some questions: -- the command "yum update" updates all my rpms. How can I avoid updating a few selected rpms, which I prefer to keep of older versions? Sincerely, Rubin. P.S. Not a question: "yum check-update" shows a newer versions available. It would be useful to show installed versions alongside to see if we have a major or a minor upgrade available.
