Hello, I've made some changes on yum to work with solaris packages instead of rpm ones. Although it is not so cleanly integrated as yum itself (no bindings for sun pkgs, no actual patching, ...), it has been working for some months. It is based on yum 2.0.7, and the package and patches are at http://www.rediris.es/app/yum4sol/ The patches might be also useful if somebody is thinking about porting yum to extra packaging systems.
