Hi, Just a small thing but I was wondering if anyone was working on improving the error messages that yum gives out. For example, if you run "yum list updates" as non-root you get the screen filling up with hundreds of instances of things like " Cannot download http://fedora.redhat.com/releases/fedora-core-1/headers/rusers-0-0.17-32.i386.hdr in caching only mode or when running as non-root user. Deleting entry from Available packages " Wouldn't it be better to simply output one line such as "You need to be root to do that"? Cheers, Raphael P.S. yum --version 2.0.4 on fedora FC1
