I left Red Hat after version 8 for Debian becauses I hated RPM hell. How happy I was to get introduced to YUM. Fedora is doing a good job for me. I use LPR instead of CUPS since it works better with my older printers. Any time I do an "upgrade", YUM wants to replace LPR with CUPS.
