Hi, The Special leap day release! Changes: - implemented use of rpmdb-yourdistro(ex: rpmdb-fedora, rpmdb-redhat) use for cache priming - documented usecachedb, usecomps options. These features are simple speedups to allow yum to use commonly- installed local stores of headers for priming it's header cache, rather than downloading them off the, apparently, overloaded mirrors. Really simple implementation, nothing fancy or new. See below for links - let me know what I broke.
