This question has probably been asked but I could not locate the answer. How or can I use yum to upgrade to the 2.6 kernel from kernel 2.4.22-1.2174.nptl.i586. Yum upgrade kernel got me to here from a slightly earlier version was hoping to go further. I this a good idea? I suppose this might be slightly off topic for this list if so please point me the right direction.
