Hola! I have a standard config with yum cache in /var/cache/yum, and each repository puts its cache below this dir. I reorganized my yum.conf a bit, and changed the name of the repository from [test] to [fc2]. I also renamed the cache directory from test to fc2. On the next update all headers were downloaded, the cache was not used. Can you tell me why? Can I prevent this in any way? When i moved the repository definition to a separate file /etc/yum.conf.fc2 but kept all else identical, yet again the headers were downloaded in full. Can you explain why? Can I prevent this? donV
