Hello, Juan. You do not need to write a script. Just install yum and then edit your /etc/yum.conf file. Add the line: assumeyes=1 then type as root: chkconfig yum on service yum start Also, afterwards, you have to move your daily cron to your weekly cron: mv /etc/cron.daily/yum.cron /etc/cron.weekly/ It should be working fine now.
