I've run into an issue with a local transparent proxy caching the remote servers header.info file and causing yum not to detect recently changed repositories. The W3C defines a special pragma that will indicate to proxy servers to bypass the cache for a request: http://www.w3.org/Protocols/HTTP/HTRQ_Headers.html#pragma Any thoughts on possibly adding that pragma specifically to the http request for the header.info file? - James
