I'd really recommend upgrading to rpm >= 4.1.1 in all cases, as you'll be
sure to get the latest and greatest features of yum, but also of rpm.
I've upgraded all my Red Hat Linux 7.0 and 7.3 systems a little while back
and really don't regret it! All needed files are here if that can help :
