Greetings ... >> Thrid, package fall over, not yum repo fall over, has any one looked >>at that? >> >> > >Not sure what you mean by that. > What is the differance between a RedHat rpm mirror and Yum repo? Will, from a layman's point of view, it's the headers, right? Okay, well, I am sure there are alot of rpm mirrors, which might be an absolute pain to try get yumified, so, am in my case, I donwload the headers from freshrpms.net yum repo, but download the rpm's from a local mirror, and idea of the conf below ... [osRawHide] name=Red Hat Linux RawHide - $basearch - os baseurl=http://ayo.freshrpms.net/redhat/rawhide/$basearch/os http://rawhide.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/rawhide rpmurl=ftp://ftp.telkomsa.net/pub/redhat-rawhide/i386/RedHat/RPMS I can think of a whole lot of problems with slow to sync mirrors and things like that, but, the saving on bandwidth and time could be worth the investment. Four, I remembered what the of FRS was for, the "clean oldpackages", well, a little changes, could it be made something more like "move oldpackages", would be nice, just for history, sometimes been able to go one version back to debug something, can be a big saving too.
