I just added a feature request to cache/reuse FTP connections here: http://devel.linux.duke.edu/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=39 There is a patch attached that implements it, but it has not been tested extensively because there aren't any packages I need to update at the moment, but it should work and make using FTP repositories with various limits much more reliable. -- Shahms King <shahms@xxxxxxxxxx>
