[Yum] yum upgrade <options>

Hi Seth,
Wow, the first user request since 1.0 was released :) Do I get to say First
Post or something like that.
We've had a couple of users ask that they be able to put a package name or
package glob after upgrade.
They (and I) understand that in order for upgrade to work, it has to look
through the whole repository and figure everything out, so it can see what
obsoletes what, but there are times when they don't want to upgrade the whole
thing, but just parts.
One example is when our users want to just upgrade their kde and they are
using Fermi Linux 7.1.1. Now the original Fermi Linux 7.1.1 has kde 2.2, but
our Fermi Linux 71rolling has kde 3.0.5. In that change, there are a few
packages whose names have changed drastically. The worst was kdesupport
changed into two packages, the main one being calle pcre.
If they do an yum upgrade it figures all that out and know's it's supposed to
install pcre instead of kdesupport, but it also things it's supposed to do
things like replace their patched ssh, with openssh, which they would have a
bit of a fit about.
Anyway, I'm sure there is a reason that you don't have any package options on
yum upgrade, but if those reasons are trivial, we would like to request being
able to do 'yum upgrade [package]'
Thanks
Troy
