[Yum] yum with -c

Maybe you tried this in other ways, but looking at the error and what you put 
as the command, it looks like you are missing the command.  Basically yum 
doesn't know if you want to do 'update' 'list' 'install' or what.  So there is 
no point in it trying to download the config file if there is nothing to do.

What happens if you do
yum -c 
"http://linux.bankone.net/linux/yumconf.php?dist=redhat\&group=yumbase\&arch=i386\&ver=8.0"; 
update
