Hi, First of all: yum is great, thank you. I noticed that the rpm for yum, will overwrite the file /etc/cron.daily/yum.cron, instead of what I feel is the correct behaviour (preserve it, as /etc/yum.conf). I think this should really be changed on the package. I'm talking about the package at: http://linux.duke.edu/projects/yum/download/2.0/yum-1.98-1.noarch.rpm (for RH9), I have not checked if the same is true for RH8.0 or previous packages.
