Thousands of Mandrake users are quite content using urpmi and have no idea other rpm repo managers exist. I have some Mandrake faq pages that cover urpmi nicely at http://speculation.org/garrick/faqs.html I use Mandrake on my workstations and personal machines, and have redhat on the servers. I started using yum on redhat and then thought it would be nice to have a single "grand unified rpm repo manager" for both distros, but I still cling to urpmi because it's just faster to use.
