I agree.  I was referring to the instruction set one would use to create
such an rpm, because I do think "most" organizations that use yum will
want such a customized rpm and hence I've been documenting it in the
HOWTO.

That would be lovely.  It would make a lot of what I've been writing in
the HOWTO garbage -- well, even MORE of what I've been writing
garbage:-) -- but it would be lovely.

You might do /etc/cron.daily/yum.conf as well -- people might well want
to select particular randomization windows (or otherwise tinker) there.
