That would be lovely. It would make a lot of what I've been writing in the HOWTO garbage -- well, even MORE of what I've been writing garbage:-) -- but it would be lovely. You might do /etc/cron.daily/yum.conf as well -- people might well want to select particular randomization windows (or otherwise tinker) there. rgb Robert G.
