[Yum] multi-header download problem and an idea

so a thought came to me - maybe it came to someone else too and I just
didn't notice it.

anyway - a while back someone suggested have a tarball of all the
headers in a particular repository available to be downloaded in one
session so you don't have to make so many connections for
trivially-small files.


so what if there was a % of pkgs you needed to download that set the
downloading off.

so if you needed to download more than X % of the pkgs from any
repository then you downloaded the tarball and overwrote them all.


I don't think that would be horribly painful to write and I thought it
might help y'all.

oh, I'm not dead - I just seem that way. work is work is work and I've
been sorta preoccupied outside of work a fair bit recently.

not dead yet, just a flesh wound.
