--=-QC2RcIcgTYb3rzjClm8p Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable so a thought came to me - maybe it came to someone else too and I just didn't notice it. anyway - a while back someone suggested have a tarball of all the headers in a particular repository available to be downloaded in one session so you don't have to make so many connections for trivially-small files. so what if there was a % of pkgs you needed to download that set the downloading off. so if you needed to download more than X % of the pkgs from any repository then you downloaded the tarball and overwrote them all.
